The Scouting Memorial will be unveiled between 12pm & 1pm on Sunday 5th June 2016 at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire DE13 7AR.

Don't worry if you haven't managed to secure tickets to the unveiling as we are installing a large screen just 300m away from the memorial which will show the unveiling ceremony live to everyone wanting to watch.

This is a much more spacious area will give you a fantastic view of the unveiling and a chance to be a part of this amazing Scouting event. This is an unticketed area and everyone is free to come and join us here.

If you want to see the memorial close then hang around after the ceremony as everyone will have a chance to visit the memorial later in the afternoon.

So don't let not having tickets stop you coming along and joining us for what will be a great and very special day.

The Arboretum is open 9am to 5pm and parking costs £3.

We would suggest that you arrive before 11:30am to ensure you are in place for the start of the ceremony.

This is a uniform event but please ensure you and your young people bring weather appropriate clothing (sun hats or waterproofs). Also feel free to bring your own picnics and drinks.
